Gadwal Fort & Samsthanam
Gadwal Fort stands at the heart of the historic Gadwal Samsthanam. Gadwal developed around the fort built by the Gadwal rulers, and the town historically served as the capital of the Samsthanam, which was a vassal of the Nizam of Hyderabad. The fort and surrounding old town preserve an important chapter of the district’s royal and political history.
