Bathukamma is one of Telangana’s most important cultural festivals and is celebrated across Jogulamba Gadwal district with colourful floral arrangements, traditional songs and community celebrations. Women and girls gather around beautifully decorated Bathukammas and participate in traditional dances and festivities. District-level Bathukamma celebrations are also conducted by government departments.
